TimeWaver Cardio Pulse

Heart Rate Variability Measurement

The TimeWaver Cardio Pulse system allows for a deeper analysis of heart rate variability and is thus intended to support you in the selection of further applications. The 14 parameters of the TimeWaver Cardio Pulse can be divided into four main groups:

The 14 parameters and

their correlations

VLF / HF Very Low Frequencies/ The relation between sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and high frequencies between exhaustion and stress.
VLF + HF Very Low Frequencies plus High Frequencies Stress level of the total activity and regulatory capacity
Stress Index Acute stress / acute regulatory capacity (demands)
Disstress Index Chronic stress
HR Heart rate Central pulse
CV Cardio variability Heart rate variability, rigidity and chaos parameters, respectively.
ES Extrasystolen Shows with chaos tendencies
IC Index of Centralization Stress state of the limbic system (will, motivation)
ULF Ultralow Frequencies Regulatory capacity
1 / HF 1 / High Frequencies Stress state in relation to the defense
LF Low Frequencies Stress state in relation to tension (own internal pressure)
VLF Very Low Frequencies Stress state of the sympathetic nervous system (performance, tension, activity, order to rigidity).
HF High Frequencies Stress state of the parasympathetic nervous system (calmness, intuition, relaxation, creativity, disorder to tendency towards chaos).
BA Calculated age of the patient

Heart Rate Variability Analysis

What Does the Heart Rate Variability Mean?

The heart does not beat regularly. The intervals between two heartbeats vary from beat to beat, just as the heart rate. This is a desired condition, as it shows the flexibility of the organ necessary to react appropriately to external stimuli and challenges as with stress, for example.

Stress reflects itself in the autonomic nervous system and may cause an imbalance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, which may heavily influence the heart rate variability.

Because of this, the HRV analysis is designed to ascertain appropriate parameters to determine stress states, in order to propose appropriate measures for stress reduction. In addition, the system interprets the evaluated data to show the current status of the client.

TimeWaver Cardio determines 14 different parameters to identify possible correlations to stress. The clear color display is designed to show you any kind of over or under regulation and where parameters are possibly in a critical range.*

Illustration of the Calculated Age

For years, the TimeWaver Cardio Pulse has been used to evaluate the most important physiological Vibration, the heartbeat, concerning its internal structure, i.e., coherence, and displays the results by means of the 14 parameters. In the TimeWaver Cardio Pulse, this detailed and meaningful analysis is supplemented by a concise and simplified evaluation for beginners, which is intended to provide a quick insight into the stress state of a person in three parameters ab out the stress quality.

* The TimeWaver Cardio Pulse is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition, or as a substitute for medical care. In the event a client has or may have a medical condition, the user should make an appropriate referral for care.
